Jess Moss to Showcase 1822 Coffee Co’s “Tip Wars” Exhibit at The Dixie’s Ballroom Gallery

The Dixie’s Ballroom Gallery is proud to present a new art exhibit titled “Tip Wars”, featuring the artwork of Jess Moss, from Huntingdon, Tennessee. The art will be on display from November 3, 2026 through January 22, 2027.

An artist reception will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with the artist present to talk about her work. 1822 Coffee Co. will generously provide coffee for guests to enjoy during the reception. The artist reception is free and open to the public.

Jess recalls that the idea for “Tip Wars” began years ago when a coworker at a local coffee shop suggested creating polls as a fun way for customers to leave tips. One evening, inspiration struck, and Jess began drawing. What started as a simple idea quickly became a beloved tradition. Each day, Jess creates two different illustrations inspired by a fun question or friendly competition, and customers cast their votes by leaving tips for their favorite. The following day, a winner is revealed and a new round begins. For Jess, one of the most rewarding parts is seeing customers return, eager to discover which illustration won the day before.

When Jess is not drawing or getting lost in a good book, you can usually find her spending time with her children, behind a counter serving up coffee and smiles, supporting our military, or keeping our parks clean and beautiful. She believes in giving back, appreciating the little things, and leaving the world a little better than she found it.
