Aesop’s Fables are a number of short moralistic stories credited to an ancient storyteller named Aesop. These stories, filled with personified animals, all showcase a particular character trait or moral judgment that can be a valuable lesson for the reader.

SCHOOL SYSTEMS: HOW TO RESERVE YOUR SEATS

1. Review the lineup at DixiePAC.net and choose your shows

2. Email The Dixie’s Box Office (boxoffice@dixiepac.net) with:

  • name of school

  • name of teacher

  • name of performance/time

  • number of students/grade level

  • number of teachers

3. You’ll receive an email reply from The Dixie with a reservation number and request for 15% deposit to confirm. If you have not received an email response in 2 business days, please contact The Dixie’s Box Office at 731.986.2100, M-F, 10-4p. 

4. Applying for the TN Arts Commission Ticket Subsidy Grant? Visit tnartscommission.org.

5. Your remaining payment will be due 4 weeks before the performance. No additional changes can be made at this time.

These performances qualify for the Tennessee Arts Commissions Student Ticket Subsidy grant. We encourage all educators to take advantage of this opportunity by visiting tnartscommission.org.

Grant applications open on Tues, August 12 at 8A CT, however you must have a reservation number from The Dixie box office to apply.


TICKET PRICES + POLICIES

Tickets are $12 per seat for students and $15 per seat for teachers/parents.. A complimentary teacher ticket is included with every 10 student seats purchased.

Payment is non-refundable. Once an invoice is paid, a refund will not be issued due to student absences, transfers, or dislike of a performance. The Executive Director reserves the right to cancel a show due to weather-related occurrences. However, in most instances, the show will go on even if only one school is able to attend. If a show is cancelled due to weather, or your school system is closed, Dixie PAC will attempt to offer available make-up days. If that is not possible, Dixie PAC will offer to apply the funds to another upcoming school time production.
