Celebrate Carroll County’s Young Artists April 15th at The Dixie

Some might recognize April 15th as Tax Day, but this year The Dixie, along with Carroll Arts, invites you to “Celebration of the Arts”! 

This special, one-day event will spotlight local, high school artists’ visual arts and live entertainment. Student art pieces, including both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional work, will be on display in The Dixie’s Ballroom Gallery starting at 6:30pm, followed by musical and dramatic entertainment in the Hal Holbrook Theatre at 7:00pm. 

Carroll Arts, the Carroll County Arts Council, whose goal is to foster the arts in the area, have invited all five county high schools to participate in the event and display the work of talented students from our county.

This event is free and open to the community. The Dixie Carter Performing Arts & Academic Enrichment Center is located at 191 Court Square in Huntingdon. For more information, visit DixiePAC.net.
