The Dixie is an official welcome center for the
Town of Huntingdon. Individuals are welcome to
take a complimentary tour of the The Dixie
during regular business hours.
If you would like to set up a tour for your
group's visit, please contact us ahead of time
for special arrangements. Your group will
experience a presentation of The Dixie's
mission, history, construction, special events,
etc. The group will also take a walking tour of
the facility with a member of The Dixie's staff.
A donation of $150 is requested for the special
group tours.
Tours allow you to see the offstage details that
help make performances come to life. Lighting and
backdrops, dressing rooms, the "greenroom," and more
are open to tour guests. See the footing of the
century-plus original building from which The Dixie
was made and hear stories about its inception.
