The Dixie Players Presents The Music Man
The Dixie Players is comprised of talented actors and actresses of all ages from surrounding areas, who will come together once again to bring an outstanding performance for your enjoyment. Previous shows by The Dixie Players include: "The Sound of Music", "Annie", and "The Wizard of Oz". In this affectionate tribute to Smalltown, USA, Meredith Wilson's beloved musical follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band. But his plan to skip town with the cash may be foiled when he falls for the beautiful Marian, the librarian.

A Community Theatre Troupe!
The Dixie Players began as CenterStage Productions in 2002 in order to create interest in performing the dramatic arts within the West Tennessee community and developing audiences in preparation for the opening of The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center. The goals of The Dixie Players are to stimulate, promote, teach, and develop interest in the dramatic arts; to educate the general public in the dramatic arts; to advance the general level of culture in the field of dramatic arts by the production of plays, musicals, readings, dramas, comedies, shows, and dramatic arts in all forms and of the highest standards. Please contact achasse@dixiepac.net if you are interested in being put on the mailing list for upcoming audition and performance opportunities. All ages are encouraged to audition.
