Inside: Pictures with Santa by Family Album Studios, live children nativities on stage, chorus performances on stage, and ticket discounts.

On the Court Square: Carriage rides, ISTEA train rides, live nativities on the court steps, Christmas carolers, street vendors (including Rich Family Relay team selling coffee, hot cocoa, hot cider and homemade treats), and shopping at local businesses.

Parking for this event will be located behind Mallard’s Restaurant and near King’s Law office. The Court Square will be closed to through traffic beginning at 1:00 p.m. until parade ends.

Then at 6:00 p.m. head on over to the Huntingdon Christmas Tree Lighting which will take place in front of the future home of city hall on East Main Street. There will be a small ceremony and community Christmas song (lyrics will be passed out to the crowd).

This event will happen rain or shine.

This year the parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. Parade will begin lineup on West Main Street near the Carroll Bank and Trust building. Line-up will be in the parking lot behind Kent Jones Law Office. All available parking lots of the Bank, Town of Huntingdon lots, and other lots and streets available near the Bank will be used to stage entries.

Please arrive as early as possible and have your entry ready to go before parade time. This year the route will leave West Main and travel East to Court Square and travel around to East Main Street and proceed East to just past Thomas Park where parade will conclude.

A number will be assigned to you and you will be responsible to make and place your entry number on the left or drivers side of your entry where it will be visible to the Judges. The Judges stand will be near the southeast corner of the Courthouse square.

Cut-off time to pre-register will be Friday the 5th of December at 12:00 noon. However you can still be in the parade if you do not register but will not be eligible for prizes.

Our Grand Marshall for this year will be Mr. Jimmy Watson, longtime owner of Watson Lumber Company and Hardware House.

Come out and enjoy our beautiful Town lights and make this parade one of our best ever.
