DIXIE YOUTH THEATRE
The
Dixie Youth Theatre is designed to provide a distinctive theatre
education program that will empower youth to embrace a life of
excellence and creativity through their artistic abilities and
open doors to imagination and self-confidence. Theatre skills
are worthwhile, valuable life skills grounded in discipline and
a work ethic that is crucial for any craft. The faculty includes
theatre professionals who provide a quality educational and
artistic experience for each participant. Experience is gained
by weekly classes culminating in a performance on the stage of
the Hal Holbrook Theatre.

THE DIXIE PLAYERS
An Adult Theatre Troupe!

The Dixie Players began as CenterStage Productions in 2002 in
order to create interest in performing the dramatic arts within
the West Tennessee community and developing audiences in
preparation for the opening of The Dixie Carter Performing Arts
Center. The goals of The Dixie Players are to stimulate,
promote, teach, and develop interest in the dramatic arts; to
educate the general public in the dramatic arts; to advance the
general level of culture in the field of dramatic arts by the
production of plays, musicals, readings, dramas, comedies,
shows, and dramatic arts in all forms and of the highest
standards.

KINDERMUSIK
In
a Kindermusik class, educators lead a group of parents and their
children through joyful activities, using music and movement.
Parents learn more about their child's unique developmental
process, and the shared learning experience creates a unique
bond as the child associates learning with fun, musical play.
The Dixie is currently enrolling students for the Summer 2007
semester (all classes begin on Monday, January 22nd, 2007). For
more information, please visit
Kindermusik at the Conger Music Studio.
